    How do you feed so many animals on bare soil? How do you manage the transition?

    • @squarecompass4582
      @squarecompass4582 18 днів тому

      the first year you have to feed them. There is no way around. If you have the grass after a year you can feet them this and expand further on your property. This is the plan of Allan Savory's Son. Or you feed them with a year fo straw.

    Our government is trying to kill us. That's why they aren't listening to Mr. Savory. It was obvious before I knew of the Savory institute. I could see government agents killing people with drugs and a plant-based diet. They're trying to stop us from eating meat and are cramming Ding Dongs and Coke down our thoughts. In 2021 with "The roll-out," they hatched a new plot to kill us off.

    I think it's great that they are greening the desert however I worry about the potential for fires if grass land is unbroken. I live in northern California and the grass grows green every winter then becomes a fire hazard every summer. There needs to be fire beaks left bare or you will have a tinder box covering the county side.

      @Gustav4 Рік тому

      Things like firebreaks is something you can add into you grazing plan when making it every half year. The Holistic Management framework contains a planning process call Holistic Planned Grazing that works very well when followed.

    Livestock agriculture is inherently unsustainable. You can't just constantly move your animals around to other peoples land while your soil regenerates from THE DAMAGE YOU CAUSED BY GRAZING. Where are your neighbors sending their cattle? They're still going to rely on corn feed which means more land will still need to be set aside just to grow food for the cattle.

      Obviously you've never seen what Greg Judy does, or Gabe Brown and many others. Open your eyes. Greg has been doing it for 22 years, the same way and improving the land all the time. Damage is caused by improper management. We are not talking about traditional destructive grazing here. It's completely different and folks are doing it all over. Animals do not belong in buildings or in feed lots.

    I want to come to come to my ancestorial lands so badly. I finally found my clan! Inness! My grandmother's middle name is Inness and my mother asked her if she was a reason for that Name and she said " this is our lineage" I was suppose to have Inness as my middle name and have Marie as my first for my mother's italian side every first born was born with a Marie name. So my next little girl will have the name Maria Inness because my youngest already has Marie ☺️

    Imagine a world where the deserts were green again. What would be the average global temperature then? Would that temperature still support the necessary rain cycles? What would the planet's people be saying or complaining about? I'd still go for it, this species of ours is still groping in the dark trying to define its potential, so just maybe we aren't the right species. Billions still believe in a supernatural reason for life, they have allowed themselves to be bullied and pummelled by Covid scares, they still cling to governments as the conduit to the future, and they swallow the non-Scientific 'evidence' for AGW. The only sin is ignorance and the only evil is perpetuating ignorance. The only light is our capacity for bright-mindedness.

    The United States hopefully leading the world instead of the desertification of America today. Does anyone think this guy looks back at this video and dies inside? Yea America is leading alright, right into being a barren wasteland. Eight years ago and we still haven't even moved to do anything about anything. Hotter than normal temps all up and down the west and the land just dries up more and more and these issues are starting to spread into places where it was never an issue before.

    California’s grasslands are now 99% invasive non-native grasses (mostly annuals) which was caused by the introduction of livestock by Europeans. These annual grasses are one of the reasons why California has so many fires. I’m curious to see if this approach would help restore native perennial grasslands or if this is used more to restore barren landscapes.
